JEE Advanced is two compulsory computer-based papers, three hours each, taken on the same day. Each paper carries 180 marks across Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, for 360 in total.

Where the marks actually sit in Chemistry for JEE Advanced
JEE Advanced Chemistry is far less about recall than JEE Main's, and the shift shows up most in Organic.
Reaction mechanisms, stereochemistry and multi-step conversions are the core: a question typically gives a starting material and a set of reagents and asks what comes out, which cannot be answered by recognising a named reaction. General organic chemistry — electronic effects, intermediate stability, acidity and basicity — is what makes those questions tractable.
Physical Chemistry becomes genuinely quantitative. Thermodynamics, equilibrium, electrochemistry and kinetics appear as multi-step problems with numerical answers, closer to Physics than to anything in the board syllabus.
Inorganic Chemistry stays substantially NCERT-based but goes deeper on coordination chemistry, qualitative salt analysis and structural reasoning in the p-block. It remains the most efficient part of the paper to prepare.

Chouhan's Advanced Problems and Himanshu Pandey's problem book both work at the right level; Clayden is excellent and more than JEE requires, useful mainly for a student who wants mechanisms explained properly rather than stated. The prerequisite for any of them is general organic chemistry — electronic effects, intermediates, acidity and basicity — done thoroughly first.

JEE Advanced preparation runs on fewer problems, done more carefully. A student who solves thirty questions a night and understands twelve of them is going backwards.
A workable week: two long problem sessions per subject, uninterrupted, where a hard question is allowed to take forty minutes. Advanced problems are multi-step by design, and the ability to stay with one is itself the skill being trained.
Full papers matter, and they are unusual: two three-hour papers in one day, which is a stamina test as much as a physics and chemistry test. Doing that occasionally under real conditions is the only way to find out how the last hour of Paper 2 actually goes.
