For a Delhi student, JEE Main is the route into Delhi's own engineering colleges, not only the IITs and NITs. JAC Delhi fills B.Tech seats at NSUT, DTU, IGDTUW, IIIT-Delhi and DSEU on JEE Main — the Common Rank List for most of them, and the JEE Main percentile for IIIT-Delhi.
85% of those seats are kept for the Delhi region, and the test is where the student passed Class 12: a school inside the NCT of Delhi counts, wherever the family's domicile is. That makes a solid JEE Main score worth far more to a Delhi-schooled student than its all-India rank alone suggests.

Why home tuition, alongside coaching
